“I truly love what I do.”

In the early stages of my career as a therapist, I grappled with a sense of frustration stemming from the limitations placed on my ability to truly impact the lives of my patients. Despite my earnest desire to alleviate their suffering, the constraints of managing multiple cases and adhering to strict schedules left me feeling unfulfilled. Enter Physical Therapy in Motion: my envisioned solution for achieving greater fulfillment in patient care.

My certification in McKenzie’s Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy has been instrumental in guiding my practice towards evidence-based solutions for healing. By implementing structured treatments and practical interventions, I empower my patients to understand their bodies and take control of their own well-being. Simply put, my passion lies in equipping people with the tools they need for long-term relief and recovery.

Furthermore, my unique combination of certifications in GOATA Movement and the McKenzie Method sets me apart as one of a select few physical therapists nationwide. Through innovative techniques like slow-motion video analysis, I enhance the restoration of natural movement patterns, resulting in increased strength, improved mobility, reduced pain, and decreases the likelihood of reinjury.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, my upbringing was imbued with a love for volleyball and spirited competition alongside my seven siblings. After earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky in 2007, I went on to complete my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at The Ohio State University in 2010.

Today, I reside in Brentwood with my family, where I enjoy exploring the outdoors, traveling to new destinations, a good cup of coffee, and staying active. As a lifelong athlete, I thrive on challenges and have even conquered several marathons and half Ironmans, a testament to my unwavering dedication to personal growth and achievement.

What Makes Physical Therapy in Motion Different

1-on-1 Plus+ Care

We value your time and effort so you deserve our undivided attention to get the most out of each session. We also offer constant contact. Don’t wait! We encourage communication via our patient message portal to answer questions or tweak your program between visits.

Self Treatment

We believe in empowering you by prescribing specific exercises, helpful postures, and activity modifications that give you the control, not your condition. Often we can identify 1-2 simple movements on day one that will immediately impact your symptoms.

Prevention

Treatment doesn’t stop when you walk out of our office. We train you for a successful transition past our care – for life. We teach you practical ways to prevent recurrence, tips and warning signs for early detection and how to self-treat should they recur.
